The Core standards are Amnesty’s standards around good governance and organisational excellence. The core standards on governance and leadership are around ensuring :   

-We have a Democratic and accountable Board, Leadership and members   

-They are committed to excellence and performance through feedback, learning and review.   

-They put in processes for Clear roles and responsibility for Feminist and Anti-Racist Leadership   

-They meet their Duty of Care to staff and volunteers to ensure that safety and wellbeing of individuals are maintained, as well as the finances, operation and reputation of the entity.   

-They conduct their decision-making with Transparency and Integrity so that the entity’s credibility and alignment to Amnesty International values are demonstrated.
