Welcome to the wellbeing space on Amnesty Leadership where you can find resources on wellbeing. Here you can find:
Resources for Boards and Directors - It is recommended that you read both the checklist and guidance together.
Four cornerstones of wellbeing- This is our model of wellbeing in the movement and describes what “good” looks like and we are linking it to resources to develop and measure each of the dimensions.
Bank of wellbeing ideas - Each and every one of the ideas has been provided by participants from the five regional forums in 2019 (Africa, Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East North Africa).
Links to external resources - This is a document with links to external wellbeing resources. These have been researched and compiled by members of Amnesty International’s Global Youth Collective. If you have any of your own that you can suggest, please send them to us.
Security tools and resources
Information sheets and resources on wellbeing topics like burnout and stress
Amnesty entity resources We are particularly keen to receive entity examples of policies, processes and approaches to wellbeing. Please send us anything you would like to share.
Action plans from the 2019 Director Survey: The Action Plan was developed to respond to the 2019 Directors Survey. The Mandela Group identified the three priority areas (security, national governance and IS support and services) based on the results of the Directors Survey. We recommend you discuss this action plan between the board and the director together and start to draft an action plan for your own entity. There is guidance in the place and links to resources available.
